An Interior Design School Course Made for Success

Interior Design School Classes In New Hampshire

Last month was a full plate of interior design, decorating, and home decorating knowledge. The Boston Design Market happened at the Boston Design Center and coincided with the 5-day interior design and decorating course at the Debbe Daley Interior Design School. This fast-track course is geared toward the design-savvy individual who wants a design career but is unsure where to start.

Most students taking the course are change-of-career individuals or just entering the world of interior design. For most, a 4-year degree is not in the cards when they register. They have already established a career in another field, raised a family, are successful single moms in the corporate world, or are bored in their current job. These individuals are ready to leave their careers and go out on their own in the world of interiors.

I have more than 30 years of experience in the interior design industry. I have worked in all areas of the industry, from making custom window treatments to selling furniture. Through my experience, I worked hard to develop a course to teach those with an eye and a passion for interior design.

Self-taught from a young age and with a business degree, I know exactly what is necessary, what potential clients are looking for, and how to achieve their desires. I also understand the tools, and my teaching skills have been developed to train the design thirsty. This fast track 5-day course has been a success over the past 15 years and keeps evolving and improving.

In the ever-changing world of interior design, online shopping, e-design, and sharing of information, I aim to pass on my knowledge to women and men who have the passion but don’t yet know how to achieve their dream. With this live course, the best part is relationship building. You will develop relationships with other students and resource partners, make connections at the design center, visit showrooms, conduct client in-home consultations, visit real renovation projects, and interact with contractors. You will not only make connections, but you will also learn how to create furniture placement floor plans and design mood boards. You will gain hands-on experience playing with fabrics and wallpaper and learning how to choose a paint color. It’s comforting to know that students are given the tools and resources to start their own business in interior design and also learn how to market to potential clients.

  • 5-Day Interior Design and Decorating

  • 2-Day Mentor and Shadowing

  • Selling Full Service Interior Design with Mood Boards

  • 90 Minute Business Strategy Call
